The Canal Road Film Centre (CRFC) is an innovative concept initiated by a group of tenants of the former Public Works Depot located in Canal Road, Leichhardt.

This site has been home to specialist Film Industry related businesses for some 8 years and in 1998 a representative body of tenants entered into negotiations with the State Government leading to the formal handing over of the site and the signing of a long-term lease agreement in July 2001.

The CRFC vision is for an umbrella community where there is a shared recognition of the value and diversity of the small businesses contributing and working in all areas of Film & TV .
We aim to maintain an environment that promotes harmonious and mutually rewarding relationships.
